Today is the perfect day to start having the hair you love.  I am so excited to share my passion of cosmetology with you in my newly built and private, home-based hair salon!  What I love the most about my profession is the connection and relationships with my guests.  From recipe sharing to trading garden secrets; to hearing about family vacations and favorite restaurants to try; or to simply sit and let my guest be relished in their much needed "me" time- I respect it all and I am all in. Creating beautifully lived-in hair for the amazing souls who wear it is what keeps me motivated and thriving in my career.

What makes me unique as a licensed hairstylist is I have an eye and ear for detail. It is so important to me that we are on the same vision for your hair goals. Inspiration photos are encouraged to help you as my guest verbalize and communicate with me on those goals. Big change, little change or somewhere in between-  it is in my nature to provide options that are realistic to the desired end results. Educating my guest on how to work with their own hair type is something I highly value.

 

"What do you want to be when you grow up..." was a question in my life at one point or another I could not confidently answer and often wondered how is it possible for others to be so sure. What I knew for sure is I wanted to help people; to mentor and educate; to be my best self possible and to leave people feeling better than I had found them. How lucky am I to have all the boxes checked through doing what I love as a career! I've been licensed since 2004 and have been beyond blessed to have experienced numerous professional opportunities. After a decade behind the chair my heart led me to teach cosmetology in the Green Bay area. I became a licensed instructor and fell head over heels as an educator. I was honored to give back every ounce of my industry knowledge to mentor hundreds of future professionals in finding their own career path. From this sparked a fire and a refreshed take on my beloved industry. And so, with immense support from my better half The Hair Suite Door County, LLC  was strategically crafted and am now the proud owner and independent stylist!

When I'm not behind the chair you can find me cooking out with my family, playing outside with my kiddos and our black lab Timber, scrolling through Pinterest, or catching an episode or two on HGTV (particularly Fixer Upper; I just adore Chip and Joanna and all things Magnolia!) I'm a lover of cherry pie, a hot cup of tea, and I cannot resist a holiday themed Hallmark movie.
